Product Owner

Job Summary

To lead a cross-functional Agile development team focused on building and optimizing a modern enterprise data lake, the temporary remote Product Owner will manage the product backlog, collaborate with data architects, and facilitate Agile ceremonies while ensuring alignment with business strategies and user needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Define, prioritize, and manage the product backlog, translating business needs into actionable user stories with acceptance criteria
• Collaborate with data architects and engineers to guide the design of the data lake, focusing on data ingestion and transformation
• Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, tracking progress and communicating risks across the Agile Release Train

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in Agile environments
• Hands-on experience with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or similar enterprise Agile models
• Strong understanding of data platforms, data lakes, and big data architecture concepts
• Experience working with Databricks or similar cloud-based data intelligence platforms
• Domain experience in the healthcare or insurance sector, particularly with health insurance products
