Product Owner

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract-to-permanent basis, the full-time Product Owner will translate customer needs into actionable product development insights for CustomBooks software, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and managing product features and deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Manage existing product features and assist in timely new project deliverables in the annual product roadmap
• Define requirements, specifications, and design for new features, improvements, and bugs
• Conduct market research and customer interviews to compile findings into actionable insights for the product team

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting with at least 5 years of related work experience
• Experience and knowledge of business operations and inventory workflows
• Project management skills with a proven track record of meeting deadlines and driving results
• Strong technical background with an understanding of software development and web/mobile technologies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with tools like Jira and Zoho Desk
