Product Owner

Job Summary

Driving the evolution of Marriott's commerce platform capabilities, the full-time FLEX Manager, Product Owner will manage the product backlog, translate business needs into detailed requirements, and ensure high-quality delivery of customer and business value in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own and maintain the product backlog, prioritizing features and stories based on business priorities and customer value
• Gather and document business requirements, translating them into clear user stories and acceptance criteria for engineering teams
• Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to facilitate alignment and support agile delivery through sprint planning and backlog grooming

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• 5 years of experience in business, technology, or related professional areas
• At least 4 years of experience converting business needs into technology requirements
• Experience as a Product Owner, Product Analyst, or Business Analyst in an Agile environment
• Strong understanding of eCommerce, shopping cart, and digital commerce platforms
