Product Owner
Job Summary
Owning the product backlog for a designated area, the remote Product Owner will manage the development process from conception to release, translating high-level requirements into actionable user stories while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful software solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Independently manage the product backlog by writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and driving prioritization decisions in alignment with strategic objectives
- Oversee release execution, resolving dependencies and mitigating risks to ensure smooth and successful product launches
- Conduct market and user research to identify trends and validate new features, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business goals
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- Minimum of 2+ years' experience in business analysis, product management, project management, and/or software application development
- Proven ability to manage a product backlog and write clear, actionable user stories
- Experience with agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle
- 2 years of experience in the financial industry
