Product Owner
Job Summary
Owning the day-to-day health of the product backlog, the full-time remote Product Owner will manage user stories, prioritize work within sprints, and collaborate with Product Managers and IT to ensure operational consistency in a high-stakes legal services environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and refine the product backlog, authoring user stories and acceptance criteria
- Collaborate with Product Managers to break down epics into actionable user stories for sprint planning
- Drive the Quick Wins pipeline by identifying and delivering smaller improvements alongside larger initiatives
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 1-3 years of experience as a Product Owner, Project Manager, or Business Analyst in software delivery
- Experience authoring user stories and acceptance criteria for software products
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and active participation in sprint ceremonies
- Proficiency with product/backlog management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps
