Product Owner Equity Management

Job Summary

Supporting the Senior Product Manager, the full-time remote Product Owner, Equity Management will manage the sprint-level backlog, translate strategic priorities into requirements, and collaborate with engineering teams to drive enhancements and defect resolutions across the Certent Equity Management platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the sprint-level sustaining backlog, ensuring user stories and defects are prioritized and ready for sprint planning
• Serve as the primary contact for engineering teams during sprint execution, participating in Agile ceremonies and tracking delivery progress
• Collaborate cross-functionally to define test scenarios, document processes, and support customer communications regarding product updates

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a product owner, business analyst, or junior product manager in B2B SaaS environments
• 2+ years of experience in equity management or financial services platforms
• Proven ability to write detailed user stories and manage sprint-level backlog execution
• Solid understanding of equity compensation principles and administrative reporting needs
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field required
