Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Product Owner for Archives will manage the prioritization of development work, participate in the Agile process, and represent the needs of archivists and records managers to enhance the Archives product line.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own prioritization of development work for the Archives product, collaborating closely with the VP of Product
  • Participate in the Agile process, acting as the expert for the Archives product and its users
  • Interact with users to understand their challenges and ensure product features align with their needs
Required Qualifications
  • A post-secondary degree or certificate in a relevant discipline (Library Science, Information Science, Archival Studies, etc.)
  • 3-5 years of experience in a technical environment or with archives/records management systems
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical individuals
  • Experience using a development task-management system for backlog prioritization
  • Familiarity with archival standards and best practices (e.g., ISAD(G), DACS, EAD)
