Product Owner for Utilities

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Product Owner to lead the strategy and delivery of digital products in wildfire risk management, meteorology, and outage mapping.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage a portfolio of products supporting wildfire mitigation, meteorology, GIS, and outage mapping
• Serve as the Product Owner for GIS-enabled applications, leveraging data to inform product decisions
• Manage vendor relationships and act as the primary liaison between internal teams and external vendors

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role in IT delivery
• Experience in the utilities or energy sector, with exposure to wildfire risk and outage management
• Strong understanding of Agile and DevOps practices
• Proven experience managing third-party vendors and software product roadmaps
• Hands-on experience using Jira for backlog and delivery management
