Product Owner - Insurance

Job Summary

To enhance distribution channels for a leading insurance organization, the remote contract Distribution Experience Product Owner - Insurance will define and execute the product vision, manage the product backlog, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve customer and partner experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the product vision and roadmap for a streamlined quote-to-bind sales experience
• Own, prioritize, and manage the product backlog, including epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Collaborate with stakeholders and engineering teams to deliver high-quality, scalable product features

Required Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager
• Proven experience owning and delivering a 1-2 year product roadmap
• Strong hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum/SAFe and backlog management tools (e.g., JIRA, ADO)
• Demonstrated ability to write epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Experience working in cross-functional, matrixed environments
