Product Owner with Secret Clearance

Job Summary

To guide the development and implementation of personnel process and technical recruiting improvements, the full-time Product Owner with Secret Clearance will establish a shared product vision, align stakeholder needs, and translate insights into prioritized work while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the product vision, success measures, and operating principles for personnel modernization initiatives
• Facilitate agile planning and stakeholder engagement to ensure delivery momentum and alignment across teams
• Build and prioritize the product backlog based on mission value, user impact, and feasibility

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with at least seven years of professional experience, including three years in a product owner or comparable role
• Demonstrated experience in product ownership for complex service or digital modernization initiatives
• Strong understanding of agile and lean delivery practices and experience in facilitating planning and refinement activities
• Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps for backlog and requirements management
• Active SECRET Clearance and ability to meet government security requirements
