Product Security Architect

Job Summary

To lead end-to-end security architecture for software products and platforms, the full-time remote Product Security Architect will define reference architectures, conduct threat modeling, and establish security standards while collaborating with engineering and product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead security architecture reviews and provide design guidance that aligns with business objectives and security requirements
• Define and maintain product security reference architectures and engineering standards throughout the software development lifecycle
• Drive the adoption of secure development practices and security tooling across multiple product teams

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in product security, application security, or software architecture
• Demonstrated experience in leading threat modeling and secure architecture reviews for complex software products
• Strong knowledge of secure software development and vulnerability management tools such as SAST, DAST, and SCA
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, cybersecurity, or equivalent practical experience; advanced degree preferred
• Deep understanding of secure design principles and cloud security, along with knowledge of regulatory requirements like the EU Cyber Resilience Act
