Product Security Architect

Job Summary

As a trusted advisor to product teams, the full-time remote Product Security Architect will guide secure architecture for multi-tenant SaaS applications, lead threat modeling and design reviews, and help teams navigate security, privacy, and delivery trade-offs.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a security advisor, reviewing architectures and recommending enhancements aligned with security frameworks
• Lead the creation of secure architectural reference patterns and contribute to the development of Product Security standards
• Partner with engineering teams to implement secure design patterns and improve security operations across platforms

Required qualifications

• Experience in security architecture, application security, or cloud security with a focus on multi-tenant SaaS
• Strong understanding of security risks associated with APIs, microservices, and data protection
• Experience leading threat modeling and architecture reviews with actionable guidance for diverse audiences
• Cloud security expertise, preferably in AWS, with experience in securing third-party integrations
• Familiarity with K-12 or higher education ecosystems is a strong advantage
