Product Security Consultant

Job Summary

Assisting post-sales customers in deploying and maximizing the value of Rapid7 products, the full-time Product Security Consultant will deploy solutions, build custom integrations using Python and SQL, and collaborate with sales teams while occasionally traveling for customer engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy Rapid7 products across diverse customer environments while applying security best practices and documenting implementation decisions
• Build and customize solutions, including reporting workflows and data pipeline integrations, using Python, SQL, and REST APIs
• Collaborate with sales teams to scope engagements and provide technical input during the pre-sales cycle

Required qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience with security technologies such as SIEM, vulnerability management, or endpoint protection
• Strong Python skills, including experience with REST APIs and relational databases (Postgres)
• Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries, including complex JOINs and subqueries
• Solid understanding of network protocols such as DHCP, IP, DNS, and HTTP/S
• Experience deploying workloads across AWS, Azure, or GCP, including configuration and policy management
