Product Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Product Security and Privacy Engineer to enhance the security of applications serving the education industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct security assessments and penetration testing of networks and applications
• Manage automated security tooling and collaborate with developers to identify software vulnerabilities
• Assist in developing processes to comply with privacy laws and improve risk management programs

Required Qualifications

• 1+ year of direct experience in security engineering
• Deep understanding of web application functionality and security flaws
• Experience with security tools such as Burp Suite, Veracode, and AWS native tooling
• Familiarity with privacy laws like GDPR and compliance frameworks such as NIST 800-171
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred
