Product Security Engineer

Job Summary

Owning product-level security across hardware and software systems, the full-time remote Product Security Engineer will define and maintain security policies, lead threat modeling and security analysis, and establish anti-tamper strategies aligned with DoD policies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead threat modeling and security analysis throughout the product lifecycle, producing risk assessments and managing vulnerability compliance
• Define and implement hardening standards for embedded systems and oversee product signing and key management infrastructure
• Establish company-wide security standards, provide design review leadership, and guide teams on secure design principles

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in product security, embedded security, or cybersecurity systems engineering in a relevant environment
• Expertise in threat modeling, security risk assessments, and vulnerability analysis across hardware, firmware, and software
• Hands-on experience in defining and implementing security policies and standards
• Working knowledge of secure boot architectures and embedded platform security
• Experience with key management infrastructure for firmware and software releases
