Product Security Engineer

Job Summary

Serving as a subject matter expert, the full-time remote Product Security Engineer III will focus on network and cloud security architecture, identifying security gaps, designing secure connection patterns, and mentoring engineering teams across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain understanding of hybrid networks and identify security gaps across public cloud and physical data centers
• Design new network connection patterns and lead threat modeling efforts to enhance security architecture
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate scaling requirements into secure-by-design architecture patterns

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
• Deep networking expertise in hybrid environments including public cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) and physical data centers
• Strong cloud security knowledge with experience in identifying gaps in coverage and controls
• Solid experience in designing scalable, secure connection patterns in SaaS or cloud-native environments
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Go, shell, or equivalent languages
