Product Security Engineer

Job Summary

As Tempo's first dedicated Product Security Engineer, the full-time remote role will focus on building and deploying security tooling, identifying and remediating security gaps, and leading incident response efforts to secure systems for enterprise onboarding.

Key responsibilities

• Build and deploy security tooling across endpoint management, supply-chain security, infrastructure, and application layers
• Identify and remediate security gaps across Tempo's production systems and development pipelines
• Lead incident response end-to-end: triage, containment, remediation, and post-mortems

Required qualifications

• 5-8 years of hands-on product or application security engineering experience
• Track record building security practices in companies with 100-500 employees or similar environments
• Hands-on coding ability for building security tooling, automation, and detection
• Deep incident-response experience, including high-severity situations owned end-to-end
• Strong infrastructure security knowledge, including hosting environments and network security
