Product Security Engineering Director

Job Summary

Leading security initiatives, the full-time salaried Product Security Engineering Director will embed security practices into the design and development of financial technology platforms, collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Acts as a technical expert in product and application security, conducting threat modeling and secure design reviews
• Partners with engineering and product teams to identify and mitigate security risks early in the product lifecycle
• Defines secure development requirements and oversees application security testing and vulnerability remediation

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• Strong experience in product or application security architecture, particularly in the financial services industry
• Hands-on experience with threat modeling, security architecture reviews, and secure system design, including AI-enabled systems
• Solid understanding of modern application architectures, including microservices, APIs, and cloud-native platforms
• Working knowledge of AI/LLM concepts and secure integration patterns
