Job Summary

Providing remote technical support and training on Instron products, the full-time Product Services Engineer will assist both internal and external customers while collaborating with design teams to ensure product supportability and quality standards.

Key responsibilities:
  • Deliver remote technical assistance and corrective actions for customers and field service engineers on Instron equipment and software
  • Train field service engineers on the operation and maintenance of Instron products and equipment
  • Maintain and update technical information in shared locations, manage customer support calls, and work with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues
Required qualifications:
  • Two or four-year technical degree in a relevant field or equivalent military/trade school training
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in a technical area, with at least 1 year in customer relations
  • Experience in field service, repair, or troubleshooting roles is preferred, especially for candidates with 5+ years of experience
  • Knowledge of electro-mechanical, servo-hydraulic, and automation systems
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
