Product Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Product Specialist to manage an assigned line of business by evaluating product changes and performing competitor analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and report on the profitability of assigned lines of business, conducting market research and competitor analysis
• Develop and introduce new or enhanced insurance products and collaborate on proposed changes and annual rate reviews
• Provide support and training to underwriters, maintain manuals, and assist with reinsurance questions and departmental projects

Required Qualifications

• 3 years of commercial multi-line underwriting or staff underwriting experience
• Bachelor's degree in business, insurance, or a related field
• CPCU and/or CIC designations or demonstrated proficiency through applicable experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel programs
