Product Specialist

Job Summary

To manage an assigned line of business, the full-time Product Specialist will evaluate product changes, perform competitor analysis, and collaborate with various business units to ensure profitability and growth, with options for both remote and hybrid work arrangements.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, evaluate, and report on assigned line of business for profitability
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to develop new or enhanced insurance products
• Provide support and technical training to underwriters and maintain agents' manuals and internal reference materials

Required qualifications

• 3 years of commercial multi-line underwriting or staff underwriting experience
• Bachelor's degree in business, insurance, or a related field
• CPCU and/or CIC designations or demonstrated proficiency through applicable experience
• Experience with commercial general liability and umbrella insurance preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
