Production Artist

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Production Artist will complete fixes to animation, ensuring readiness for final picture in an animated production while collaborating with the production management team.

Key responsibilities:

• Attend animation meetings and reviews to understand the history of shots
• Review animation renders and identify problem shots during check and notes sessions
• Implement mechanical and aesthetic fixes to finalized work, including adjustments and reanimation

Required qualifications:

• Degree or certificate in classical animation, film, or related field, or equivalent production animation experience
• Solid background and knowledge of animation software such as Harmony ToonBoom or Clip Studio
• Demonstrated understanding of animation principles to convey meaningful storytelling through movement
• Openness to direction and ability to embrace change
