Production Assistant

Job Summary

Supporting the production team for YouTube channels fern and Simplicissimus, the part-time Production Assistant will assist with day-to-day operations, project tracking, and shoot organization while working remotely from anywhere in Europe.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Producer and Production Coordinator in daily tasks and manage selected responsibilities during absences
• Assist with internal resource planning and coordinate team capacities and responsibilities
• Organize shoots, including location booking, travel planning, and crew coordination

Required Qualifications

• Fluency in German and a good command of English
• Experience in film, TV, or media production through internships or freelance projects
• Structured and reliable working style with the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Good numerical understanding for budget and expense tracking
• A genuine passion for journalistic and creative content
