Production Buyer
Job Summary
To support purchasing activities in a fast-paced environment, the full-time Production Buyer will coordinate with production control, operations, and engineering teams to acquire inventory efficiently, while managing day-to-day inventory planning and processing orders based in Chelmsford, MA.
Key responsibilities
- Managing inventory planning and processing Oracle MRP output to support demand
- Tracking work order shortages and expediting materials to meet delivery goals
- Evaluating supplier performance and communicating on-time delivery and quality issues
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant purchasing experience
- Experience in purchasing, scheduling, and inventory management in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly MS Excel
- Experience with Oracle EBS and/or Oracle Cloud
- Understanding of Lean principles and Kanban utilization
