Production Counsel, State Licensed

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time remote Production Counsel, State Licensed, who will evaluate and finalize production and creative contracts, structure agreements with ad agencies and production houses, and serve as a legal resource for Creative and Production teams in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Evaluate, prepare, and finalize production and creative contracts, including SAG-AFTRA agreements and talent deals
• Structure and execute contracts with ad agencies, production houses, and influencers for commercial campaigns
• Facilitate rights acquisition and clearance processes for commercial productions, including talent likeness and third-party intellectual property clearances

Required qualifications:

• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school
• Current bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• 5+ years of legal practice with a minimum of 4+ years in commercial advertising production or media/entertainment business affairs
• Proven track record in preparing and executing commercial advertising contracts, including SAG-AFTRA agreements
• Knowledge of SAG-AFTRA guild rules and experience with AI-related legal considerations in creative settings
