Production Engineer

Job Summary

Working full-time as a Production Engineer, the successful candidate will develop and maintain the infrastructure for Meta's products and services, ensuring reliability and performance for billions of users while writing high-quality code and solving complex production challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage back-end and front-end services, including fleet management and critical infrastructure components
• Write, review, and debug code while leveraging AI tools for production and developing documentation and capacity plans
• Analyze and optimize code for quality and performance, while mentoring team members and participating in on-call rotations

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with *nix (Linux or UNIX-like OS) and network fundamentals
• 7+ years of coding experience in languages such as Java, Python, C++, or Go
• Experience with Internet service architecture capacity planning and urgent capacity needs
• Knowledge of web technologies and Internet service architectures, including LAMP or MEAN stacks
• Experience configuring and running infrastructure-level applications like Kubernetes and MySQL
