Production Engineer

Job Summary

Providing 24x7 on-call support, the remote Production Engineer will maintain production operations for CIS on IBM webMethods ESB/BRE/BRMG, ensuring stability while managing modernization efforts.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve P1 and P2 incidents for CIS production operations within specified timeframes
• Monitor production performance using AppDynamics and ELK/ELARS, generating tickets and coordinating with cybersecurity teams as necessary
• Execute legislative and regulatory release packages and maintain backup/restore procedures, including quarterly testing

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in 24x7 enterprise production support for middleware or API/integration platforms
• Proficiency in IBM webMethods or a comparable ESB/integration platform
• Experience with AppDynamics, ELK/ELARS, and ServiceNow for incident management and root cause analysis
• Knowledge of Federal IT change management and FISMA security compliance
• Active IRS Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) required
