Production Engineer

Job Summary

Utilizing a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) mentality, the full-time Production Engineer will craft, build, and maintain complex systems at scale in a remote environment, focusing on infrastructure management, automation, and incident response.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and resolve production infrastructure challenges across public cloud environments, including GCP and AWS
• Identify and implement automated solutions to optimize code and operational tasks, reducing toil across the platform
• Participate in incident response during critical issues and assist with root cause analysis to drive structural improvements

Required qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) with production-ready configurations
• Strong understanding of system architecture, distributed microservices, and self-healing systems
• Experience with containerized workloads using Kubernetes and Docker across public cloud hosting providers
• Proficiency in Python and Go, with experience in structural and automated scripting
• Familiarity with metrics, monitoring, and alerting systems to maximize infrastructure visibility
