Production Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Production Manager to oversee the production and manufacturing of books.

Key Responsibilities

• Consult with publishing groups to develop specifications and schedules
• Manage purchase orders, costs, and oversee prepress and manufacturing processes
• Coordinate with vendors and collaborate with various departments to ensure quality and timely completion of titles

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of experience in one-color and four-color book manufacturing
• Strong estimating and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, SAP, and FileMaker Pro
• Knowledge of EnFocus Pitstop, Adobe InDesign, and Photoshop is a plus
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
