Job Summary

Leading a team of Production Specialists, the full-time salaried Production Manager, eBooks will oversee the production of digital and backlist titles, ensuring quality and accuracy while managing workflows in a hybrid or remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team focused on eBook and backlist production, ensuring projects are completed on schedule
• Oversee file preparation, quality review, and final delivery for both print and digital formats
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for workflow improvements and maintain production standards

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in book production, including both print and digital publishing workflows
• Proven people management experience with the ability to coach and build strong teams
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
• In-depth knowledge of print specifications, preflight standards, and production methods
• Experience with eBook production tools and workflows, including XML-based processes
