Production Operations Engineer

Job Summary

To sustain 24x7 EAG production operations, the full-time salaried Production Operations Engineer will manage high-volume API transactions, ensuring strict SLAs for availability and incident response while executing API onboarding and lifecycle delivery remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide continuous monitoring of the EAG IBM webMethods platform, responding to P1 incidents within 15 minutes and restoring service within 4 hours
• Maintain system availability at 99.5% or higher and log all incidents and service requests in ServiceNow, producing root cause analyses as required
• Execute API onboarding and lifecycle delivery, including performance testing and updates, while producing regular performance reports

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in 24x7 production support for high-volume enterprise API gateway or middleware platforms
• Experience with IBM webMethods API Gateway or similar enterprise API management platforms
• Proven ability to meet aggressive SLAs, including sub-15-minute P1 response times
• Familiarity with ServiceNow for incident, change, and request management
• Experience with AppDynamics and ELK stack for monitoring and API performance metrics
