Production Support Engineer

Job Summary

To ensure the stability and performance of Java and Node.js API/web/streaming applications, the part-time Production Support Engineer will manage monitoring tools, troubleshoot incidents, and perform application maintenance in a live production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting up and managing monitoring tools to track application performance and respond to alerts
• Investigating and resolving production issues through debugging and log analysis
• Performing routine maintenance tasks, including bug fixes and performance optimization

Required Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in Java and Node.js, including related frameworks and asynchronous programming
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases such as Oracle, MySQL, and MongoDB
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Splunk, ELK stack, and Grafana
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or PowerShell
