Job Summary
Supporting a 24/7 staffing model, the part-time Production Support Engineer will manage high-priority production issues, troubleshoot technical problems, and oversee incident resolution while working non-day shift hours remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and resolve high-priority production issues, ensuring adherence to service level agreements
- Drive incident resolution by collaborating with cross-functional teams and performing root cause analysis
- Maintain documentation of incidents and metrics, while managing ticket queues and client interactions
Required qualifications
- Technical background with advanced SQL skills, including experience with table joins and queries
- At least 2 years of experience coordinating major incidents in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with ITSM/ITIL concepts and tools such as Confluence and Jira
- Basic knowledge of programming languages like Java, Python, or Ruby
- Experience with error monitoring software and on-call management tools
