Production Support Engineer

Job Summary

To ensure the reliability of critical production applications, the full-time salaried Production Support Engineer will troubleshoot and optimize systems while managing escalated issues and performing root cause analysis, all within a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and resolve application issues, providing timely updates and performing root cause analysis
• Support application outages by executing recovery plans and participating in post-mortem analysis
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to implement changes for scalability, security, and reliability

Required qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting applications, analyzing logs, and performing root cause analysis
• Proficiency with SQL Server and scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, Docker, and Windows/Linux administration
• Familiarity with IIS, Traefik, Elasticsearch, APIs, HTTP, DNS, and monitoring tools
• Understanding of infrastructure security, incident management, and compliance practices
