Profee Coder - Internal Medicine
Job Summary
To support a fast-paced healthcare environment, the part-time Profee Coder - Internal Medicine will perform coding for outpatient encounters, ensuring accurate assignment of CPT, modifiers, and ICD-10 codes while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform Profee Internal Medicine coding for outpatient/clinic encounters
- Ensure accurate assignment of CPT, modifiers, and ICD-10 codes
- Meet productivity and quality standards while working within the client's EMR system
Required qualifications:
- Certifications Required: CPC, CCS, or RHIT
- Minimum 3 years of Profee Coding experience, including proficiency in Internal Medicine coding
- Experience with EPIC (Single Pathway) strongly preferred
- Must pass a Profee coding assessment with a score of 80% or higher
- Ability to maintain required CPH (charts per hour) and accuracy standards
