ProFee Coding QA Trainer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a ProFee Coding QA Mentor/Trainer.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform quality reviews and identify opportunities for education and support to coding staff
• Mentor new hires and provide training, guidance, and support to maintain coding standards
• Research and respond to coder support questions and create reports for management

Required Qualifications

• Certification such as CPC, COC, CCS, RHIT, RHIA, or LPN
• Experience in professional coding, preferably in both professional and facility coding
• Strong knowledge of CMS guidelines and various payment systems (APC, OPPS, NCCI, IPPS)
• Experience with coding software such as Epic, Cerner, Meditech, and 3M 360
• At least 1 year of experience as a quality auditor is preferred
