Professional Billing Reimbursement Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Reimbursement Representative - Professional Billing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow up with third party payers and patients on outstanding account balances to facilitate prompt resolution
• Verify patient coverage information and update registration as required
• Utilize Epic system and have knowledge of medical and insurance terminology, coding structures, and billing forms

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• One year of experience in an insurance, finance, medical, hospital, or customer service related field
• Preferred Associate's Degree in Business, Finance, Health Information Management, or related field
• Preferred Revenue Cycle (healthcare business, financial or insurance) experience
