Job Summary

A company is looking for an Auditing & Education Consultant - Profee.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate the work of client's coders in assigning ICD-10, CPT, and/or HCPCS codes through concurrent or retrospective reviews
• Identify documentation and coding trends, preparing summary reports of findings and delivering educational content to clients
• Conduct audits while meeting productivity standards and ensure compliance with coding guidelines and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active credentials from AHIMA and/or AAPC (e.g., CCS, CPC, RHIA)
• Minimum of 5 years of outpatient and profee coding and/or auditing experience
• Strong working knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and applicable NCCI edits
• Proficiency with multiple electronic health records systems
• Commitment to maintaining professional credentials and knowledge through continuing education
