Professional Liability Claims Advisor

Job Summary

Managing complex professional liability claims, the full-time remote Professional Liability Claims Advisor will analyze, negotiate, and resolve executive and error and omissions claims while ensuring high levels of customer service and cost management.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and process complex liability claims, conducting investigations to determine exposure
• Negotiate claim settlements and recommend settlement strategies within designated authority levels
• Coordinate legal defense and monitor compliance with client guidelines while managing overall claim costs

Required qualifications

• Ten years of complex claims management experience or equivalent education and experience
• Preferred Master's or Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited institution
• Relevant designations such as Associate in Claims (AIC) or Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU)
• Extensive knowledge of insurance coverage and claims expertise in errors and omissions and directors and officers
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong analytical and negotiation skills
