Professional Services Consultant

Job Summary

To lead implementations of Proofpoint solutions and maintain technical relationships with enterprise customers, the full-time Professional Services Consultant will engage with new clients, perform installation and configuration, and deliver training, primarily through remote web conferencing tools.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with newly signed enterprise customers to implement Proofpoint solutions
• Perform implementation activities including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and documentation
• Deliver training to customers and partners while driving high levels of customer satisfaction

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role, such as professional services or technical support
• Experience in large systems design and project implementation for enterprise email environments
• UNIX system administration experience
• Strong understanding of Internet protocols and networking components
• Proficiency in Sendmail and messaging infrastructure administration
