Program Administration Authorization Supervisor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Authorization Specialist to supervise and manage authorization processes in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervises eligibility and authorizations for admissions and unfunded persons served
• Oversees the main billing system to ensure accurate service entry and timely billing
• Manages consumer authorization data entry and resolves authorization-related billing inquiries

Required Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum of one year of experience in medical administration and/or medical billing
• Two years of supervisory/management experience preferred
• Experience with payer online portals and knowledge of EDI 835 formatting preferred
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is required
