Program Associate

Job Summary

Supporting the operational delivery of a 5-Year Strategic Plan, the full-time remote Program Associate will manage member engagement, coordinate strategic initiatives, and elevate organizational communications within the sustainable seafood sector.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate activities across three strategic priority areas: Wild Sector Sustainability, Social Responsibility, and North American Aquaculture
• Serve as a point of contact for member inquiries and assist in onboarding new member companies
• Develop and execute communications strategies to enhance Sea Pact's visibility among key stakeholders

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental studies, marine science, sustainability, nonprofit management, or a related field, or 3 years of relevant professional experience
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote setting
• Proficiency in standard productivity and collaboration tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Zoom, etc.)
• Familiarity with the seafood industry or sustainable seafood practices
• Experience with data collection, survey tools, or basic data management
