Program Communications Manager

Job Summary

Focused on creating impactful communications, the Manager, Program Communications will develop and produce written and visual assets to translate complex research and policy into accessible content for key audiences, working either in Washington, DC or fully remote in a full-time salaried position.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and produce a variety of written and visual materials, including testimony, talking points, and digital content
• Translate complex legislative language and research findings into clear, audience-centered communications
• Coordinate with communications teams to support integrated campaign execution and maintain organized messaging resources

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred but not required
• 3-5+ years of experience in communications, public affairs, or related fields
• Exceptional writing and editing skills with experience in translating complex content
• Ability to visualize and present data effectively for diverse audiences
• Experience with federal nutrition or benefits programs and understanding of public policy processes preferred
