Program Director - Grid Flexibility

Job Summary

Leading a complex utility flexibility deployment, the full-time remote Program Director - Grid Flexibility will manage end-to-end program delivery, stakeholder relationships, and commercial success while driving innovative solutions in the energy sector.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the program from initiation through implementation and long-term value realization, managing timelines and execution
• Produce necessary documentation and bridge functional gaps to ensure seamless delivery across teams
• Build and maintain credibility with regulated US electric utility stakeholders, enhancing existing relationships and navigating operational complexities

Required qualifications

• Senior-level experience in program, implementation, or utility-transformation leadership at the Director level or higher
• Deep expertise in grid modernization programs, including Demand Response, DERs, and grid operations
• Proven experience managing regulated US electric-utility stakeholders and navigating control-room operations
• Recent hands-on ownership of complex grid programs, driving core project management directly
• Demonstrated commercial acumen with history of P&L exposure or value realization accountability
