Program Director of State Strategy

Job Summary

To support a growing mission in education, the full-time remote Program Director of State Strategy will coordinate cross-functional initiatives, track state-level goals, and drive alignment across teams to ensure effective execution of strategies aimed at enhancing educational access and success.

Key responsibilities

• Translate state strategies into actionable cross-team initiatives with defined owners and timelines
• Own tracking and reporting on state goal progress, proactively identifying misalignments
• Facilitate cross-functional coordination to resolve conflicts and maintain focus on shared objectives

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in strategy, program/project management, or cross-functional operations
• Proven ability to coordinate complex work across teams without direct authority
• Strong analytical skills with experience in building tracking systems and dashboards for executive use
• Bachelor's degree in education policy, public policy, economics, statistics, data science, or a related field
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for distilling complex information into clear direction
