Job Summary
To support the VA Center for Care and Payment Innovation (CCPI), the full-time salaried Program Director, VA Licensed, will manage program oversight, serve as a principal advisor to senior VA leadership, and lead the development of Congressional briefing materials while ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and delivering value-based healthcare solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Provide senior program management oversight across the CCPI Strategic Planning Division enterprise portfolio, ensuring alignment with VA strategic priorities
- Serve as a principal advisor to SES-level VA leadership on program strategy and initiative performance, offering evidence-based recommendations
- Lead the development and quality review of Congressional briefing materials and legislative reports to ensure clarity and alignment with VA messaging
Required qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of progressive program management experience within the federal health sector
- Master's Degree in Business Administration, Public Health, Health Administration, Public Policy, or a closely related field
- Demonstrated experience providing advisory support to SES-level or equivalent federal executives
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or a recognized equivalent required at time of hire
- Ability to obtain and maintain a VA PIV credential and complete a VA background investigation
