Job Summary
Leading the design and implementation of new programs for the VA's Office of Suicide Prevention, the full-time Program Implementation Subject Matter Expert will manage programmatic outcomes by connecting strategic planning, performance measurement, and budget linkages within a large-scale federal healthcare system.
Key responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end release and implementation management for new programs within the Elevated Risk Care Management portfolio
- Apply knowledge of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process to align program initiatives with budget cycles
- Engage with senior VA leadership and stakeholders to provide expertise on national healthcare program implementation strategies
Required qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in healthcare program management, with at least 5 years in national-level program implementation
- Master's Degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Public Administration, Healthcare Policy, or a related field
- Experience working with a federal healthcare agency, navigating governance and oversight structures
- Ability to obtain and maintain a VA Personal Identity Verification (PIV) credential and complete a VA background investigation
- In-depth knowledge of the PPBE process and Management Funding Reviews in a federal healthcare context
