Program Manager

Job Summary

Leading a mission-critical program for the Department of Veterans Affairs, the remote Program Manager will oversee the end-to-end delivery and modernization of a secure, cloud-hosted platform, ensuring compliance with federal regulations while managing program execution, operations, and service delivery within a SAFe Agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for VA CORs and COs, managing all aspects of contract execution and program leadership
• Develop and maintain the Contractor Project Management Plan, ensuring timely and compliant delivery of program artifacts and performance metrics
• Lead program execution within a SAFe Agile framework, driving modernization efforts and ensuring alignment across product teams and stakeholders

Required qualifications

• Proven experience managing large-scale federal programs, particularly within the healthcare or technology sectors
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, specifically SAFe, and experience in DevSecOps practices
• Expertise in cloud technologies, particularly AWS GovCloud, and experience with containerized environments
• Familiarity with federal regulations, including FAR, FISMA, and NIST frameworks
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder communications effectively
