Program Manager

Job Summary

Providing critical support to the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, the full-time Program Manager will manage acquisition and development efforts, facilitate successful contract execution, and develop program status briefings, with the option for remote work if approved.

Key responsibilities

• Support cost and schedule reduction activities for acquisition and development efforts
• Provide program level acquisition support to ensure successful program execution and maintain acquisition objectives
• Develop and maintain program risk management plans and assist with the preparation of acquisition reports and briefings

Required qualifications

• Must be a US citizen with an active Secret Clearance
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related field with at least three years of relevant experience, or seven years of directly related experience with five in the DoD
• Functional knowledge of systems acquisition principles and program management practices as defined in DoDI 5000.02 and 5000.75
• Ability to communicate effectively and produce quality acquisition and program documentation
• Experience with Mission Planning Independent Validation, Verification & Evaluation, and related software development evaluations
