Program Manager

Job Summary

To support community-based media initiatives, the part-time contracted Program Manager will manage project oversight, budget tracking, and staff supervision while working remotely for a duration of 6 to 9 months.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee project implementation, budget compliance, and staff performance, recommending adjustments to improve outcomes
• Serve as a thought leader on social impact investment practices and manage donor reporting and financial oversight
• Coordinate inter-departmental communication and lead risk management efforts, ensuring timely execution of cross-functional deliverables

Required qualifications

• Relevant university degree or equivalent lived/professional experience
• At least seven years of relevant experience in media business, media development, or social impact investing
• Experience working in South Asia and knowledge of organizational methods like social network analysis
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to communicate complex information to diverse audiences
• Demonstrated grant reporting experience and proficiency in MS Office
